9/22/2003 - Yay! Edited AR0900 loaded, featuring the added Sune temple. All the door overlays are screwed up though - gak! Working on new Surayah joining dialog to reflect her new spawning location in the temple.
9/24/2003 - After much wailing and pulling of hair, new Sune Temple area loads without the dreaded crashing.
9/27/2003 - Tested new joining dialog and banters thus far. Tested first dozen items and added BAMs for item description screen. Added screencaps to website.
10/1/2003 - Have adjusted the Wisdom stat back to 8. Made 9 new item BAMs and worked on an Ahammed NPC portrait (he's a servant who pops up with Surayah-related exposition now and then). Have added one Haer'Dalis, one Mazzy and two Valygar banters, and two Anomen LoveTalks. New screencaps of sample Korgan and Edwin banters with Surayah added on the main page, the content of which has aready been tweaked a teensy bit. What can I say? I'm a tweaker!
10/8/2003 - Still working on more banter/interjection content: One more banter each for Mazzy, Nalia and Jaheira, four more for Edwin, one Surayah/Aerie/Haer'Dalis banter and interjections. Slayer transformation, Abyss, and Tree of Life interjections, plus recorded one song snippet for possible use in the Slayer reaction talk.
10/19/2003 - Yeah, yeah, banter and interjections are still ongoing. I'm going to take down the number counts of who has how many banters, at least on the webpage. It's a pain to keep track of, and at this point (pre-editing, chucking, wailing and ashes) it's hardly accurate. What else? Surayah's portrait has been improved, and I've recorded four more songs for possible use. Two are vocal tracks for banters, while the other two are loops to go in the pool of possible Calimshite area background music.
12/15/2003 - I hate updating this progress page. The SofA portion of this mod is roughly halfway done, and I've added two tracks that I'm favoring for Sune temple background music to this site.
2/23/2004 - I still hate updating this progress page, hence the lack of updates, despite the progress. Let's see, I've been doing additional area graphic work for the Sunite temple, as well as some other plot/quest-related areas. I've recorded three additional songs, one for an Anomen LT, one for a PC talk, and one for a Mazzy banter. I've written a handful more of banters. I've been spending a lot of time rewriting the Anomen romance, as going over my early-written LTs left me very dissatisfied. Custom spells and abilities for the Heartwarder kit are 75% done, and I've done some playtesting with it. Fixed the staging of the first meeting with Surayah. I've finally started writing and coding some of the kit and plot related quests. Oh, yeah, I did a more Bioware-style alternate portrait set for Surayah, which will be optional on install.
